An early 18th century, large oak gateleg dining table. Featuring solid oak construction throughout. Oval shaped, quality oak top, the drop leaves are supported by double gatelegs on each side. The substructure consists of scalloped frieze to both ends, turned supports with blocks on short turned feet, adjoined with conforming stretchers. Peg jointed construction.
 
An extremely heavy table, made from early, very high quality English oak. In good condition. Comfortably seating 8 people, and maybe couple more at a push. Serviced, cleaned, waxed and very much ready for use.

This table measures approximately 77 cm (30'') tall, 196 cm (77.125'') wide leaves up, and 63 cm (24.75'') wide leaves down, 155 cm (61'') deep.
