Fine Pair of Old Sheffield Plated Communion Goblets / Chalices 1844

Description

This large fine pair of communion chalices are made of Old Sheffield Plate. Bearing no makers marks, but engraved on inlaid silver cartouches for 'Ardrossan Free Church 1844'. They are visibly seamed and with beautiful rich gilded interiors.

In good condition with slight surface wear to the the plating. Very slight ripple to the rims due to age and use.

Total weight approx 1.1kg.

Height approx 22.5cm

Base diameter approx 10.5cm.

Diameter at rim approx 11.5cm
