The reverse of the plate is marked with the factory’s emblem, confirming its authenticity as an original Sèvres work. There is a small hole at the back, made intentionally for hanging the plate as a decorative feature—customary for Sèvres plates in period interiors. These rare plates were commissioned for royal households and remain highly collectible.

Condition: Gilt edge with moderate wear; three restored spots on the rim; otherwise, very good antique condition, no cracks.
