In very tidy condition.

Light pink ground colour with a stylised vase of flowers pattern and trellis design.

All over low pile with light wear. Rear with edge binding tape to tidy up.

A Sarouk rug is a hand-knotted wool textile originating from the Sarouk region in the Arak district of West Persia. Renowned for dense knotting and durable construction, these carpets typically feature curvilinear floral arrangements, vase motifs, and deep rose pink or navy blue ground tones.

Persian Sarouk rugs are hand-knotted using hand-spun wool pile woven onto a sturdy cotton warp and weft foundation. Organic vegetable and mineral dyes are traditionally used to achieve the characteristic rose, red, terracotta, and indigo shades.
