Description

A Fine Quality Early 19th Century mahogany pedestal desk. The rectangular top having an inset panel green leather writing surface with blind tooled detail. The front having an arrangement of nine rectangular mahogany lined drawers, retaining the original crest brass handles, original locks and working key. Each drawer cross banded in mahogany, having solid mahogany sides and a polished panelled back. Raised on a mahogany veneered plinth with inset brass castors. The desk splits into three sections for easy transportation. English circa 1820-1830

Dimensions: 60" wide x 30" deep x 30" high (knee hole 26" wide x 24" high)
