Rare example of a beautifully carved Italian early 19th century Grand Tour Giallo Antico marble chamberstick, after the antique. Stylised foliate classical acanthus leaf carved articulated handle, shallow flat bottomed bowl with turned candle cup. Probably unique, definately unusual, in over thirty years of collecting I have never seen another. Rare item for collectors of Grand Tour. Italian, circa 1830.
