Good quality substantial pair of late 19th century ormolu gilt and dark patinated bronze winged putti twin light candelabra set on white marble column bases. After original designs by Andre-Antoine Ravrio. The winged putto set in contrapposto poses as if advancing hold aloft torchere lamps with finely cast candle cups. Heavy statuary white marble column bases with very fine rimmed gilt bronze milled and beaded mounts. A fine and attractive pair of candelabra. France, circa 1890.
