Good quality figured mahogany one piece pedestal kneehole writing desk on a plinth base, English. c1860.

There are eleven smoothly running solid mahogany drawers with brass handles and locks. The green hide writing surface is in fine condition.

Central kneehole of generous size and vanity panel is visible at the rear of the kneehole. The back of this desk is unpolished.

Shown in top showroom condition having been polished and waxed, this attractive writing desk is ready for immediate use.
