Solid gold antique earrings showcasing beautiful blue-grey opal doublets mounted in pretty crown-shaped settings.

SIZE: The opals measure 1 x 1.3cm.

WEIGHT: 3.2g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold, opal doublet (a slice of opal attached to a stronger backing material).

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped 9CT on the screws and the reverse of the earring.

CONDITION: Very good antique condition. One opal has a very tiny nibble to one edge when seen under magnification but it's not perceptible when the earrings are worn.

ERA: Estimated Victorian (c.1837-1901).
