Exceptional and rare Wedgwood lustre vase, hand-painted by Daisy Makeig-Jones, featuring the Lung Ma (Dragon Horse) in gold and enamel on a vivid violet lustre ground. This motif is seldom seen and highly desired, with collector interest and auction values steadily increasing. Early artist-directed issue—marked Wedgwood, England, impressed star.

Height: 12.3 cm.

Condition: Excellent, only minor gilding wear to the rim. No chips, cracks or restoration.
