A charming Victorian silver pill or ring or snuff box with clear hallmarks on base and lid for Birmingham 1897 and makers mark for Deakin & Francis. This little box is beautifully made and is in superb condition. It stands on a rectangular base with outswept gadrooned sides. The alternate gadroons are in smooth relief or are chased in a feather shape. The design is repeated on the lid, surrounded by a pie crust edge. There is a vacant shield on the lid.
