A truly beautiful late Victorian cluster ring, crafted in rich 15 carat gold and set with a vivid sky blue turquoise surrounded by a halo of glistening rose cut diamonds.
The central cabochon turquoise is securely claw set, measuring approximately 7mm x 5.5mm x 3.5mm. It is encircled by twelve sparkling rose cut diamonds, each around 2.2mm in diameter, delicately set in silver to enhance their natural brilliance.
The gemstones are arranged in a charming corbeille (basket) setting, leading to gracefully bifurcated shoulders – a hallmark of fine 19th century design. This exquisite ring sits 8mm proud of the finger and has a cluster measuring approximately 13mm x 11.5mm.
Stamped 15ct gold, the ring dates to around 1880 and is in excellent original condition. It is currently a size O½ (UK) / 7.5 (US), and would resize with ease.
It weighs a substantial 3.8 grams and is presented in the box shown.
