Description

A Set of Six Large 19th Century Wine Glasses.

Each with a band of cut and etched decoration of grape and vine leaves, surrounding the rounded shoulders. The bowls of funnel shape, with wide broadening hatched decoration. The stems of baluster profile, finished with a circular socle, before the circular foot. The undersides with pontil bases.

Date circa 1870.

Height 6 inches, 15cm.
