Art Deco 0.72 Carat Minor Oil Colombian Emerald Ring, Circa 1930

1920 - 1940
Description

A vintage emerald ring that's very close to perfect. The emerald – certified as Colombian and having received only minor clarity enhancement – is the ideal green; a rich, deep, and verdant hue with an electric internal glow. The stone is rubover set in 18k yellow gold with a neat, pierced gallery, leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank. It’s very unusual to see an emerald set without diamonds around it, but that understandable given the quality of this stone.

Accompanied by an emerald report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the emerald shows evidence of minor clarity enhancement, and is Colombian in origin.

Cut: Square emerald cut.

Clarity: Eye clean.

Carat: 0.72.

Circa: 1930.

Size: N (UK) or 6 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The emerald is 5.4 x 5.1mm. The head of the ring is 6.2 x 5.8mm and sits 4.2mm from the finger.

Weight: 2.27 grams.

Metal: 18k yellow gold. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
