Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The stone is rubover set in 18k yellow gold with a neat, pierced gallery, leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank. It’s very unusual to see an emerald set without diamonds around it, but that understandable given the quality of this stone.

Accompanied by an emerald report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the emerald shows evidence of minor clarity enhancement, and is Colombian in origin.
