Scottish Sheraton Mahogany Bow Dressing Table Circa 1790

18th century
Description

Fine quality Scottish Sheraton figured mahogany break bow fronted dressing table with pop up mirror to back and fitted with three drawers to right, single deep drawer to left and central drawer. All are ash lined and have bone escutcheons and are opened by key (no handles). Boxwood line edge to drawers and on legs. Raised on square tapered legs with spade toes fitted with brass socket casters. All in fine original condition except back right leg has been broken and repaired with iron brackets. Lovely rich colour with great waxed patina. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.

Size; 30" high, 42" wide, 21" deep at centre.
