The brooch is made from solid 15ct gold and in spectacular Victorian fashion. Featuring a horseshoe intertwined with a chain link design, meticulously set with fine seed pearls, this brooch most certainly presents a unique and characterful design.
The chain link section presents a wonderful bold contrast to the fine seed pearls with quite a thick and ''chunky'' chain design.
Classically elegant and distinguished from contemporary designs; this horseshoe brooch would make for a lovely piece of antique jewellery to wear with your favourite clothes. The evident equestrian interest aside, the horseshoe also symbolises luck & protection - a wonderful and charming peace to wear to subtly display your equestrian passion or, hopefully good fortune!
The reverse side of the brooch has a pin which allows it to be worn with jumpers, jackets or coats.
