We are delighted to offer this magnificent antique Georgian 18ct gold ring made in London 1831 with marks for Thomas Gaunt.

Upon a quick glance, this ring exudes a spectacular and majestic air with its soft antique butter/champagne gold tone and wide profile leaving a lasting impression.

The ring features a most wonderful tiered design with a scalloped/flower-like edge on both ends with multiple layers of height forming a border around the central section. The central portion has been profusely engraved with further decorations and spells out "in memory of" in gothic lettering.

The gauge of the gold used in combination with its depth makes for a very solid and satisfying feeling ring most apparent when holding in hand and is a true testament to its fine quality and exemplary Georgian goldsmithing.

Furthermore, what is particularly delightful with this ring is the full set of English gold hallmarks which are present on the inner shank.
