DIMENSIONS
73cm high x 49cm wide x 33.5cm deep
CONDITION
There marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. There is paint loss throughout, particularly to one area of the top and generalised elsewhere, mainly around the joints between different sections of timber. There is a small loss to the moulding around the edge of the lower tier. There are some historic repairs to the supports and one of the feet, and the central support has been re-glued into the lower tier. The original sliding work bag is not present. There is slight play in all joints but the piece appears sound. There is craquelure to the painted finish. The painted decoration is of fine quality and has been stabilised to slow down further paint loss. A piece of this age and quality of the original painted finish is rare to the market.
