Philip Carrol Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The feathers well delineated, and heightened in gilt. The hens beak, and wattles, picked out in enamels.
It is unusual to find such a finely modelled example of this tureen, and with this colouring.
Height – 17 cm, 6 3/4”.
Length – 18 cm, 7 1/8”.
Depth – 13.5 cm, 5 1/4”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
