1900 - 1920
For Sale by AC Silver
Description

A magnificent, stunning, fine and impressive antique 14.31 carat diamond and platinum Art Deco bracelet; part of our diverse statement diamond jewellery collection.

This magnificent, fine and impressive antique Art Deco diamond bracelet has been crafted in platinum.

The articulated bracelet is composed of three elongated, articulated pierced decorated setting arrays, alternating with circular-shaped links, all in the Art Deco style.

Each elongated setting is embellished with a central claw set marquise cut diamond, flanked in a linear array with collet set baguette cut diamonds, terminating with a triangular cut diamond.

Either end of the linear formation bears two baguette cut diamonds, collet set in a herringbone, chevron style design.

The central design of each elongated setting is encompassed with seventy pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, creating a paralleling border.

The rounded links are each embellished with two further marquise cut diamonds, in addition to a lozenge cut diamond, all collet set in a horizontal formation.

The central collar design incorporates twenty-six further pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.

The outer border of each secondary link bears collet set baguette cut diamonds in a splayed Art Deco formation, alternating with further diamonds in a combination of transitional modern brilliant and eight cuts, completing the design.

The bracelet secures with a discreet, integrated double-prong clasp, and benefits from the added security of a hinged safety latch and safety chain.

This stunning bracelet has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.

This magnificent bracelet is supplied with three IDGL diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.

Such stunning and original iconic Art Deco examples incorporating very high diamond grade and cut combination are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.

A women's statement diamond bracelet is a timeless gift for milestone birthdays, major achievements, or formal occasions. Combining bold elegance with lasting value, it is ideal for those who appreciate luxury and seek to mark life’s defining moments with brilliance.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.

Condition

This stunning luxury diamond bracelet is exceptional quality, set with stunning feature diamonds displaying a fine white colour, brilliance and presence.

The high colour graded supporting diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance.

The bracelet is an exceptional gauge of platinum and is in exceptional condition.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this magnificent example of 1920s jewellery.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco jewellery, produced primarily during the 1920s and 1930s, is characterised by geometric forms, symmetry, linear patterns, and contrast. It often features platinum settings combined with diamonds and sharp geometric gemstone cuts such as baguettes and marquises.

Pieces from this era typically utilise platinum or white gold to produce a bright white setting that highlights the stones. Diamonds in old European, single, baguette, and marquise cuts are commonly set using fine claw or bezel methods with millegrain edges.

Authentic pieces display hand-pierced openwork, millegrain edging, period-accurate platinum hallmarks, and period stone cuts. The underlying construction typically consists of articulated links designed to lie flat against the wrist.

A wide Art Deco diamond bracelet serves as a singular focal point when paired with minimalist evening wear, tailored tuxedos, or neutral contemporary silk garments.

Clean using warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled toothbrush to clear dust behind stone settings. Store the piece in a soft fabric pouch away from other items to prevent surface abrasion.
