Big sized all woollen tribal carpet by one of the tribes of south west persia.
Has a nice green and yellow used. Dark blue ground filled with floral sprigs and contrasting twin ivory minor borders with the main border of a kind of continuous stylised tree of life.
Does have all over pile wear but still looks very reasonable. Priced taking this into account. Many images of this carpet.
Ends and sides secure.
Size is 10 foot 6 inches by 7 foot 3 inches. 320cm X 220cm. At widest points. Many images of carpet.
Usually within my collection of these thoroughly charming tribal weavings this would be priced at 3-4k.
With the wear priced at £ item now sold gbp.
