Description

A chunky 14-carat white gold vintage ring with a beautiful blue sapphire flanked by curved panels of sparkling white diamonds. Note the pretty geometric openwork galleries typical of 1940s "tank" rings.

SIZE: V (UK), 10 and a half (US). The sapphire measures approximately 6 x 5mm and the front face of the ring is approx 1 x 2cm.

WEIGHT: 8g.

MATERIALS: 14-carat (585) gold, diamond, sapphire.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped with the Hungarian hallmark for 585 (14-carat gold) which was used between 1937 and 1966.

CONDITION: The ring is in excellent vintage condition.

ERA: 1940s.
