Description

Argentor cold painted bronze study of an Arab warrior, Vienna, Austria, c. 1890. The finely rendered figure, modelled as a proud Arab man standing on rocks, and wearing traditional robes. He scans the scene before him, whilst holding a rifle, whilst he carries two daggers in the sash around his waist.

Set upon a canted rectangular marble base.

Inscribed ARGENTOR, WIEN to a rock.

Height – 25 cm, 9.8”.

Width – 17 cm, 6.7”.

Depth – 9 cm / 3.5”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No repair.
