A wonderful example of Edwardian whimsy - a solid sterling silver pin cushion fashioned as a vintage car, although not, of course, vintage when this was designed and manufactured.The base is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1906 with the maker''s mark of Levi & Salaman. There is also a Patent Registration number. Other than one small pin prick on the back (as shown in the penultimate picture), the silver is in an excellent, although uncleaned, condition.
