Mid Century 0.92 Carat Toi Et Moi Ring, Circa 1950

Description

A striking and characterful vintage toi et moi ring which we believe was converted from a pin brooch. The two main diamonds - both old European cuts - are slightly off-set from each other, and are accented by a pair of transitional cut diamonds. All the diamonds are rubover set in mligrained platinum, and sit nice and low to the finger on a 2.5mm D-shaped shank in 14k yellow gold which has been over-layered in platinum. Unique, impactful and super-wearable.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report by IGR.

Cut:? The two main stones are old European cuts. The accents diamonds are transitional cuts.

Colour:? The two main stones are G and I. The accent diamonds are H and J.

Clarity:? The two main stones are SI2. The accent diamonds are VS1 and SI1 respectively.

Carat:? The two main stones are approximately 0.36 carat each, with a total overall approximate carat weight of 0.92.

Circa:? 1950.

Size:? U (UK) or 10 1/4 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The head of the ring is 10.0 x 11.5mm and sits 4.1mm from the finger.

Weight:? 3.55 grams.

Metal:? 14k yellow gold. The diamonds are set in platinum and a layer of platinum is laid on the outside of the shank.
