A fine quality antique English small Art Deco wardrobe, with a bow-front shape, constructed with stunning figured walnut timbers, comprising two doors, circa 1930, in excellent original condition. The Art Deco wardrobe comprises a classic bow-front / cloud shaped design, with a French polished top. The two wardrobe doors display stunning mirror-matched figured walnut timbers. The doors retain their original red Bakelite handles and hinges. The left-hand door retains its original sliding bolt at the top, to secure the door when closed. The right-hand door also retains its original working lock and key, which comprises a metal-rod locking system. Inside, the Art Deco wardrobe features a telescopic hanging rail to the left, with four open compartments on the right-hand side. At the bottom of the wardrobe are is a metal pole to rest your shoes off the ground.The Art Deco bow front wardrobe, sits on its original moulded recessed plinth and the back features solid backboards. This small Art Deco armoire is single-piece unit. This Art Deco bow front wardrobe, would be at home in any traditional or contemporary setting and consumes very little space.
