Fine Victorian Stained Glass Hall Lantern

Description

This FINE VICTORIAN STAINED GLASS HALL LANTERN dates from circa 1890 and is in good, original condition.

The four coloured glass panels each has a central ‘jewelled’ motif which reflects the light well. There is also a coloured glass panel to the base.

The Brass framework has applied stylised Acanthus Leaves to the top corners. The brass arms are strong and have a gentle sweep which terminates in a pineapple crown.

The Ceiling Rose in included.

The subtle colours of the glass are only able to be created with genuine Victorian Stained Glass.

Height to top of pineapple crown: 21 inches (53.5 cm)

Width and Depth: 9.5 inches (24 cm)
