This is a handsome Victorian aesthetic movement rosewood and brass strung writing table/ desk by Collinson & Lock of London. Overall inlaid with brass line borders and fluting, the shelf back with a pierced brass gallery above spiral fluted supports, the tooled leather writing surface above a concave frieze fitted with three drawers, on tapering fluted legs united by wavy ''X'' framed stretchers, bearing manufacturer''s stamp and registration number ''6572'' to drawer.
 
There is very minor wear and tear, including some very small marks to the leather writing surface. Overall, in excellent condition.
