Art Deco Silver & Guilloche Enamel Compact by Henry Perkins & Sons, Birmingham 1921

Description

This delightful silver and guilloche compact was made in Birmingham in 1921 by Henry Perkins & SonS. Of circular form, the front decorated with a stunning royal blue colour enamel cabochon. The hinged lid opening to reveal a silver interior.

Attachment ring for a chain.

Hallmarks:

HP&S for Henry Perkins & Sons.

Date letter "w" for 1921.

Birmingham Assay mark.

Lion passant.

Condition:

Good

Enamel in good conditIon.

A couple of minor surface scratches commensurate with age and use.

Strong hinge.

Good clear hallmarks.

Back with a minute dimple, commensurate with age and use.
