Description

A rare and stunning Anglo Indian elephant table. The elephant in ceremonial dress having very good quality carved decorative harebells, acanthus, chains and anklets with faux ivory painted wood tusks and eyes. The carved & revolving table having turned finials and bone inlay. The whole raised on a rectangular canted corner base with carved rope edge and moulded plinth. Condition - Very good and completely original. Dimensions:- Height…28.25’’/ 72cm. Width…29’’/ 74cm. Depth…12.75’’/ 32.5cm.
