Mike Melody Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
It has been in the same family for 3 generations.
It is in unrestored original condition with a couple of " blacksmith" repairs .
We are selling in its present condition which is completely usable but we can restore if required.see pics
The colour and patina are deep and fabulous.
An incredible rare item ( possibly unique) . Further examples of "manx tables" can be found in bernard cottons book "manx furniture"
However similar shoes on tripod tables were also found in the work of john channon of london circa1720.s
