Six Anglo-Indian dining chairs from the 1820s showcase exquisite Indian craftsmanship combined with English Regency elegance. Featuring lotus flower carvings—symbolising purity and divinity—the chairs have gracefully shaped backs, sabre legs, and cream-upholstered drop-in seats. Crafted by Indian artisans , they blend British Regency influences with Indian design, creating a distinctive Anglo-Indian style. Emerging during the 19th-century. This furniture style combined European forms with Indian aesthetics for colonial homes and export. The chairs are in very good antique condition and ready for their new home .
