N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this Antique Campaign Apothecary Box to the 19th Century.
The bottom drawer then has a fantastic brass campaign handle as well as a brass shield escutcheon around the key hole. The box also has its original lock and key as well as the original brass bar to lock the bottom drawer.
The box then comes complete with all 8 original glass bottles and stoppers to the top compartment. Each bottle then has a label many of which include Liverpool retailers as well as London wholesalers listed. There are then four original bottles and stoppers with their labels in the bottom drawer as well as the original glass measuring cup.
Truly one of the most original and complete apothecary boxes I have ever seen with some bottles even having there original leather seals. An absolutely fantastic example of the upmost quality.
