Georgian Mahogany Tripod Tilt-top Side Table Late 18th Century (rectangular Wine Occasional)

A Georgian period, mahogany tilt-top tripod table, dating from the late 18th century. This useful table single piece, solid mahogany oblong shape top with associated base. Supported by a baluster stem, raised on a tripod of downward splayed legs with inlaid stringing. The top tilts up by way of a hinged mechanism and locking catch.
 
An associated table of late 18th century top and base. Possibly reduced in height. Very useful as a wine, side or occasional table.

This table measures approximately 63.5 cm (25'') tall, and the top is 61 cm (24'') by 53 cm (21'').
