An elegant Royal Worcester porcelain pot pourri vase and cover, dating to 1912, of lobed oval form with a finely pierced domed lid. The body is beautifully hand-painted with richly detailed pink roses in full bloom, set against a softly graduated background and framed within elaborate moulded and gilded strapwork borders.
The decoration is signed by A. Watkins, one of Royal Worcester’s accomplished floral artists, celebrated for their refined handling of colour and botanical form.
This piece bears the printed Royal Worcester mark in green for the year 1912 and stands at 20cm in height. The gilt embellishment is intact and vibrant, and the vase presents in excellent condition throughout, free from chips, cracks, or restoration.
