Art Deco 1.07 Carat Unheated Padparadscha Sapphire Solitaire Ring, Circa 1940

Description

Padparadscha sapphires are as rare as they are beautiful. This lovely example displays a bright and unusual pinkish orange. The stone is rubover set in a yellow gold, with tri-split shoulders leading to s slim D-shaped shank. Desperately lovely.

Accompanied by a report from ICA GemLam stating the stone is an unheated natural padparadscha sapphire.

Cut:? Cushion.

Colour:? Pinkish orange.

Clarity:? Loupe clean.

Carat:? 1.07.

Circa:? 1940.

Size:? K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The sapphire is 5.70 x 5.66mm. Sits 3.6mm from the finger.

Weight:? 2.10 grams.

Metal:? 18k yellow gold. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
