Artist Biography – Adrian Heath:
Adrian Heath was a pivotal figure in post-war British abstraction. Educated at the Slade School of Fine Art, Heath was a WWII RAF veteran and prisoner of war, where he mentored fellow artist Terry Frost. He later exhibited widely at the Redfern Gallery, Tate, ICA, and internationally at Documenta II in Germany.
His work blends geometric constructivism with lyrical expression and is held in prestigious public collections, including the Tate Gallery, British Council, and Arts Council Collection.
Condition:
Painting: Good overall condition. Some foxing present to the paper and surrounding mount.
Frame: Light surface wear including small scuffs and marks. Protective glass shows some surface scratches and staining.
