An Antique George 3rd Mahogany Chest on Chest with Secretaire C1780

An antique George 3rd mahogany chest on chest with secretaire and dating from around 1780. This lovely secretaire has a moulded cornice with a crossbanded lip underneath. Then follows two short over three long graduating drawers which are all oak lined with original brass handles and a rosewood crossbanded edge to the drawer fronts. The fourth drawer down is the secretaire drawer, inside of which are four pigeon holes to the centre with a long drawer underneath and four graduating small drawers to each side. The base is moulded round the top with two long deep drawers which are the same as above. Its moulded round bottom and stands on bracket feet. The top lifts off the base.
