C19th French bronze sculpture study of a putto or amorini, modelled as a hunter .

The cherubic figure shown in contrapposto pose depicted with a hunting horn in his left hand pressed to his lips , the right arm supporting a deer carcass slung over his shoulder. The whole raised an an integral oval naturalistically-modelled bae.

Of good scale and proportions with a consistent rich colour and patina.
