Antique English pewter 1 pint ''drip catcher or funnel stand'' by William Robert Loftus of London, the makers mark on the inside base gives the address of 321 Oxford Street, London, this would date the item to the period 1882 - 1900.
The item would have been used on the tavern bar under the beer pumps to catch any drips or as a stand to place a pouring funnel into after use.

The item is in excellent condition with a very lightly polished silver-grey finish with very slight traces of light oxide.
