Late Victorian Dining Chairs - Rosewood - c1900
This set of four Rosewood English made dining chairs are in good order with strong frames.
The set are fully sprung so offer very comfortable seating. The fabric covering is clean and without rips or tears. There are some marks visable on the fabric under close inspection.

The Rosewood displays beautifully and the choice of the timber elevates the set way beyond the more commonly found mahogany construction.
The chairs benefit from a stylish padded back cushion with galleried turned risers supporting a lovely hand carved and nicely formed top rail with flower & drapery design.

The turned front legs terminate with an original castor complete with china wheel.
The chairs are solid throughout the set and free of woodworm or any serious defects.
Overall these chairs represent a terrific opportunity to own a stylish matched set of 4 original antique chairs that will serve perfectly and look wonderful for the next 100 years.
