An antique Arts and Crafts pedestal desk in ash, dating to the late 19th century. The rectangular top is fitted with a red tooled leather writing surface above nine drawers, each with shaped brass drop handles and matching escutcheons. The sides and drawer fronts show the straight grain characteristic of ash, while the top corners are softly rounded. Raised on bracket feet with central castors for ease of movement, this practical desk remains functional and well-proportioned.
