Art Deco 1.03 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1930

Description

A seriously lovely vintage engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre is secured in an eight-claw platinum collet with triangular detailing in the gallery. The flared shoulders are each set with three old mine cut diamonds within a milgrained channel, and lead to a slim platinum shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR.

Cut:? Old European cut in the centre, with old mine cuts in the shoulders.

Colour:? The centre is J. The sides range from SI1 to SI2.

Clarity:? The centre is SI2. The sides range from SI1 to SI2.

Carat:? The centre is a known 1.03, with a further approximate 0.08 carat in the shoulders.

Circa:? 1930.

Size:? L 1/2 or US size 5 7/8. Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The diamond is approximately 6.6mm in diameter and sits 6.4mm from the finger.

Weight:? 3.38 grams.

Metal:? Stamped PLAT - indicating platinum - and tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer to confirm.
