An English Half Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An English gold plated Half Hunter pocket watch. The enamel dial is signed 'Lancashire Watch Co. Ltd Prescot England. Blued steel hands and a subsidiary seconds dial. The inner case is has the Dennison ALD mark and 'English Make'. A nicely engraved mechanism with a lever escapement. A top wind mechanism. Circa 1900.

The Lancashire Watch Company was founded in 1889 and finished in 1910.

Case width 53mm (without winding crown and loop)
