A charming scene captured during the late Victorian era that shows the village of Princethorpe in Warwickshire.

A mother stands with an infant in her arms, watching her young daughter herd a calf. There are ducks to the right of this scene, and a male figure on a horse drawn wagon who making his way out of the village towards the fields in the distance.

Presented within its original good quality swept gilt gesso glazed frame. Tiny losses to be expected. Artists name and location to mount.
