A fantastic condition restored 3 over 3 chest of drawers.
This stunning chest of drawers features wild grain Mahogany to the drawer fronts framed with cock-beaded edges. The chest is complete with all of its original brass oval plate dropper handles which have never been replaced and incorporate a lion to the centre. This simple yet elegant chest of drawers is in an outstanding condition featuring its original beautiful French polished finish with a lovely rich Mahogany colour. The finely dovetailed drawers are particularly clean inside and are smoothly operating. This beautiful chest stands proudly on its original shaped bracket feet.
The chest has been restored in our workshop so is solid with no loose joints or wobbles and is free from woodworm. The drawers have had some of the drawer runners replaced and rebuilt as necessary so now have little to no wear and do not drop when opened. The chest of drawers has been carefully revived, cleaned and waxed, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen. This lovely restored chest of drawers is in home ready condition and is fit for every day use for many more years to come.
Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
