Description

Here is a novelty antique silver plated and oak biscuit box. Realistically modelled in the form of a musicians drum. The silver plated lid has a finial of an open piece of sheet music with two drum sticks crossed over. The cylindrical oak body has applied silver plated mounts typical of a drum. Swing handle with a belt buckle decoration. This retains its original white ceramic liner. c.1900 British made.
