Description

This is an unusual and very stylish silver mounted dressing table jar. The translucent blonde tortoiseshell body applied with a silver band in the middle section and on the rim. The rim fully hall marked. The silver banded lid with silver finial.

Hallmarks:

S.M.L for Samuel M. Levi.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "z" for 1922.

Birmingham Assay mark.

Condition:

Very good

Tortoiseshell in very good condition.

Silver in very good condition.

Dimensions:

Height: 7cm / 2.6 inches.

Diameter: 9cm / 34 inches.

Lid diameter: 6cm / 2.2 inches.
