Art Deco 0.61 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1920

Description

A very pretty vintage engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre is warm, bright, soft yellow. The stone sits within a milgrained square setting, which leads to step-down, box-set diamond shoulders to a platinum D-shaped shank. A distinctive Art Deco design.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR.

Cut: Old mine cut in the centre (with eight-cuts in the shoulders).

Colour: The centre is M (the sides range from G to I).

Clarity: The centre is SI1 (the sides range from VS2 from SI1).

Carat: The centre is a known 0.61 carat (with a further 0.02 carat in the shoulders).

Circa: 1920.

Size: O or US size 7. Free sizing available.

Measurements: The centre diamond is approximately 5.2mm in diameter. The head of the ring is 6.25 x 6.15mm and sits 4.5mm from the finger.

Weight: 3.08 grams.

Metal: Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
