Description

Very stylish Art Deco wrought iron and marble top console table c.1930. A fabulous example, measuring five feet wide at the knees, it is larger than many we see of this style. Unusual thick beige marble top with a band of green grey stone inlaid within and rounded front corners. Superb quality free standing wrought iron base with a scrolling apron and shapely legs joined with shaped stretchers. Original green painted finish with applied cast and gilded decorative mounts featuring fruit and acanthus leaves to the centre of the apron and the front legs. Excellent original condition.
